Roller-Coaster

I always knew that I wanted to get a tattoo done and i knew where i wanted it and what would be the theme/concept.I searched a lot and finally found a few designs that i liked and finalized on this one.The reason to choose this was twofold.One being Dragons and the other being that if you look at the design carefully,you will see a black and white dragon in perfect symmetry symbolizing the yin and yang,the good and evil in perfect balance.I have always believed that no one is perfect.All of us have good and bad in us and as long as its balanced,it indicates a perfect harmony.Now let me explain why dragons…(A lot of my friends were like “Do you see yourself with a dragon tattoo at 70?” and I answered an instant “YES”)

The first time i fell in love with dragons was when I saw “Dragon Heart”.Considering it was made in an era where technology was not as advanced as it is now,they still managed to conjure up a very believable dragon.Then came “Eragon” and “Saphira”.The way that book describes dragons and the whole connection between the dragon and its rider was just so amazing.Dragons for me have always symbolized power,beauty,grace,pride, stubbornness,courage,strength of body and character and intelligence.My love affair with the dragons started long back and continues even to this day.Its something i know i will love my entire life

I did ofcourse have cold feet at the last minute and cancelled my appointment a couple of times and then one morning just decided “Thats it!…I am going and getting it done” (before i chickened out again).

It wasn’t as painful as i imagined and frankly it was worth all the pain :).I just love it
