To boldly go where no man has gone before
by Rashmi on Jun.07, 2009, under Uncategorized
“Space, the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its 5-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before” intoned Captain Kirk and a 11 year old kid stayed glued to the idiot box lapping it all up, fantasizing about outer space adventures and aliens.Having a major crush on the logical, barely human Vulcan-Spock,admiring the brave captain Kirk and enjoying the clashes btw Dr. McCoy and Spock
All the rest of the sequels never matched upto the original Star Trek. So,when i heard the latest star trek movie was based on the oldies,i knew i couldnt miss this one.And boy,it sure did feel great to watch them come back alive on the big screen again :D,even getting a glimpse of Leonard Nimoy(Who was the original Spock).A lot of childhood memories were revived again. The movie is a good watch, even for people who arent Star Trek fans.Fast paced, well executed and a few good laughs.Total paisa vasool :D
P.S: It feels great to be back in the blogging world again.I never thought i would miss my blog so much.
